As you become a more advanced poker player, it is often a good idea to ask yourself not what you would do with your current hole cards, but instead what you would do with your entire range.
For example, suppose that you open AcTs from the button, get called by the big blind and go heads up to the flop. The flop comes Ah7d5d, and you get check-raised.
You could think about pot odds, real odds, the range that your opponent is on, and what you want to do with your AcTs. Or, you could ask yourself what you want to do with your entire range. What are you doing when you have AK? A2? TT? 98? Are you defending enough against his raise? Are you reraising with a balanced range? This tool helps you explore these sorts of questions.

Right now the tool works best for preflop situations. It is a little wonky for postflop ones. Improving that is very high up on my priority list right now.
